Called up stating that they received my number from Survey Department and that i was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the last 2 years. The lady claimed she was representing a company called Legal Assist and i could check out their website www.legalassist.com.au. It was clear from the start it was a bogus call with a bogus website. I just asked silly questions to waste her time.

Caller asked me to confirm I'd been involved in an accident (which I haven't). She rang off when I told her she was a con-artist, or words to that effect :)

Agreed just hung up as soon as you answered. Very suspicious.

The person called my number but immediately disconnected when I replied. When I called again several times there was no reply.
