this number suddenly took over my iPad. It appears to have killed it as the iPad won't do anything else except display a request to call the number. It's trying to connect to my phone to complete the call. Hopefully I can get my Ipad back somehow.

what u have to do is pull your sim card out and say to siri hyphen hyphen hyphen hyphen hyphen and this will do a mini restart which removes the call poping up

Usually through ads on sketchy websites, it may send you to a website where it will constantly ask your device to call the number even if your not on the tab or safari. The people on the line are scammers and will try to get your personal details. I’ve also read that they hard lock your device so you are unable to do anything without a hard reset. I’m unsure if it’s true. Either way, don’t call.
